Holidays again! Prepare now!!

Prepare? How? Prepare by thinking ahead and know that we are likely to eat a bit more than normal during holidays. So why not loose a few pounds before the next holiday? Increase your exercise, even by a little bit, will help! Eat less. Pay close attention to portion sizes. Eat healthy! Healthy eating promotes a healthy weight! Your body will thank you!
Get back on the scale!! No its not broken! Weigh daily at the same time of the day!
Eat slowly!
Eat your healthy (best) foods first! Including your salad, veggies, nuts and fruits! Add a nice slice of whole grain bread with a tablespoon of peanutbutter and you will be getting full! Let your food rest and most likely you won't feel like eating any more!!

Hi Cousin Bill, I just read your Blog, and was very encouraged by your words. I gained a bit this last year about 10 lbs. Holidays are a good time to refocus and get that 10 off, so that is what I am doing. Lost 3.2 already, just under 7 to go. My goal is the end of January, and what better time to start instead of gaining like most, I vow to lose! You are an inspiration, and I love you! Cousin Rita
